Richard A. McComb

Richard A. McComb Richard McComb, age 59 years of Cedarburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon.  He was born May 17, 1951 in Green Bay, son of Laurilda Beth McComb and the late Robert McComb.  He was a 1969 graduate of DePere High School and a 1973 graduate of UW Oshkosh.  He joined Northwestern Mutual upon graduation and was currently Director of  I.S. Resource Organization.  He enjoyed biking, photography, gardening, playing his guitar, and collecting music.  Survivors include his son Andrew of Chicago, his mother Laurilda McComb of Green Bay, his sisters Susan (John) Istwan of Savanah, GA and Jean McComb of Green Bay, his nephew Brad Istwan of Chicago,and his former wife Bonnie McComb of Cedarburg. He will also be dearly missed by his longtime friends Joe Rothe, Al Kluz and Jerry Burg   He was preceded in death by his father Robert.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 11, 4 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St., Grafton, with Father Michael Barrett officiating.
