Ronald Meyer

Ronald Dean Meyer was born April 18, 1932, in Ledyard Township (Lakota) Iowa, son of Louis and Eleanora (Blome) Meyer. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lakota and graduated from Lakota High School. Following high school he was drafted into the United States Army. He was stationed in Panama. Ronald was united in marriage to Marion Pingel on June 6, 1953 at Camp Pickett, Virginia. Ronald and Marion moved back to Lakota after Ronald's service to his Country. He worked for Carpenter & Sons in Ledyard, Ley Motor Co in Lakota, and Telex communications in Blue Earth before retiring. Ronald had a love for gardening, fishing, and being outside. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, going to their cattle shows watching them show cattle, and seeing his great-grandkids. Ronald died, Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the Timely Mission Nursing Home, Buffalo Center. He was 87.
