Winifred "Winnie" White

Winifred L. White “Winnie” Winifred, “Winnie” White, age 76 of Wauwatosa, passed away in the morning hours of Saturday, October 16, 2010 surrounded by her loving family in the town of Cedarburg.  Winnie was born on May 3, 1934 in Deerbrook, WI, daughter of Frank and Frieda Wetzel Wegner.  On June 1, 1957 she married James White at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Deerbrook.  Winnie worked as a Vice President for Casino Holiday, Inc. , a travel agency.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society and LOLAS - the Ladies of Lefeber Avenue Society. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Winnie is survived by her children: Douglas White (Deborah White) of Fayetteville, AR, Kenneth of Costa Rica, Marc (Terri) White of Cedarburg and Catharine White of Shawano.   She is further survived by her grandchildren Christine, Stephanie and Charlie, her sisters Luanne Boyle of Port Washington and Sylvia (George) Remington of Antigo, brothers-in-law Milo Novak of Deerbrook, WI and H. White, siblings Sheridan Wegner, Laurel Novak and Mary Hall, and her brother-in-law Robert Boyle. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 21st at 12 noon at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 420 W. Whitefish Rd.
