PATRICIA A. BAHR Mrs. Patricia Bahr, of South Avenue in Belgium, passed away at her residence Tuesday afternoon, October 19, 2010.  She was 70 years old.  Patricia was born in Port Washington on June 14, 1940, daughter of Raymond and Evelyn Parlow Becker.  She attended school in Port Washington and graduated for Port Washington High School with the Class of 1958.  On June 17, 1961, Patricia was united in marriage with Ronald “Buddy” Bahr at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada.  The couple settled in Belgium and raised their family.  Mrs. Bahr was a 20+ year employee of Allen Edmonds Shoe Factory, retiring in 2003.  She was an active member of St. Mary Parish, Lake Church and a member of the Christian Mothers. Pat valued her family above all other things and loved just spending time with them.  She enjoyed going to her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, crocheting and picking asparagus in the springtime.  In her spare time, Mrs. Bahr enjoyed traveling and working in her garden.  Patricia is survived by her husband Ron of Belgium, their four children: Timothy ( longtime companion Jamie Southa...[more]

Bahr of Belgium, Jean (Dave) Weyker of Belgium, Gary (Stacey) Bahr of Sheboygan and Christopher (Tina) Bahr of Cedar Grove, five grandchildren: Eric, Lyndsey and Briana Weyker, Alexis and Olivia Bahr, as well as her mother Evelyn Becker.  She is further survived by three sisters: Betty (Carl) Bostwick, Carol (Russell) Larson and Kathy (Fred) Learned, sisters- and brothers-in-law Margaret “Peggy” (Charles “Skippy”) Bichler, James (Elaine) Bahr and Richard (Lois) Bahr, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Pat is preceded in death by her father, Raymond.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7PM on Thursday, October 21st, at Holy Rosary Parish, Holy Cross Chapel, (5330 Highway B,  Belgium).  Father James Ernster will officiate.  She will be laid to rest the next day at St. Mary Cemetery, Lake Church.  The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Thursday from 4-7PM.  Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the Aurora Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Team.
