Brian John Clymer, age 26 of Colfax, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Newton Church of the Way. Burial will follow at Waveland Cemetery. Visitation for Brian will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Newton Church of the Way. (Slings) Clymer, Brian was born on December 17, 1992 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Colfax-Mingo High School in 2011 and completed the welding program at DMACC in 2013. Brian was a member of the Newton Church of the Way, the Colfax Mingo FFA and the Jasper County Fair where he served as swine superintendent. Those left to honor his memory include his parents, John and Beth; the love of his life, Rachel Forschler; a brother, Jake (Natalie) Clymer and his dog, Jenny.
