Terry Lee Bishop

Terry Lee Bishop, 71, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at his home. Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Bloom Senior Center in Glenwood. Private burial will be at the Glenwood Cemetery. Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center in Glenwood is caring for the family. Memorials: Directed to the family Terry Lee Bishop, one of four children of Fredrick and Dorothy (Kruse) Bishop was born on July 26, 1948 in Council Bluffs, IA. He received his education from Glenwood schools graduating with the Class of 1966. On December 10, 1966 he married Carol Jean Johnson at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood. The couple was blessed with three children, Todd, Hollee, and Jonathan. Terry worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad as a switchman operator. He retired in 2013. Following retirement Terry then began working at Bomgaar's. Terry enjoyed bird watching, was a very talented wood worker, and loved his family, especially his grandkids and his great granddaughter.
