Danny Lee Ashley Of Des Moines, Iowa Danny Ashley, age 56, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Danny was born on July 1, 1963 in Iowa City, Iowa. Danny worked for Perry's Service and Towing. He loved riding motorcycles and collecting guns. Danny was the type of person who would drop anything to help anyone in need. He will be remembered most for being fearless, stubborn, hard headed and a smart ass. Above everything, he enjoyed most spending time with his family and keeping his brother out of trouble. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mary Ashley; daughter, Kary Graham; son, Charles Ashley; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Connie (James) Adreon, Tony (Misty) Ashley, Nancy (Mike) Gallagher, Judy (Jeff) Keeling, Larry Pollock and Donna Ashley; step-mom, Margaret Sue Ashley; his cat, Cheeseball; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
