Marley Lee Sharpe, age 86, of Springboro, OH; passed away on Friday May 27, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. Lee was born in Norma, TN on October 18, 1924 to Walter and Nanny Bell Jeffers Sharpe. He married Mary Edith Parker on July 27, 1967 and was in the Merchant Marine from 1943 to 1946, and was employed by NCR in Dayton from 1947 to 1969. He moved to Austin, TX working for Quality Machinery from 1969 to 1972 and Mack Truck in Cincinnati from 1973 to 1993, and also for Heather Wood Golf Course from 1993 to 1998. He was a life time member of the VFW and served throughout the world during his military service. Lee was preceded in death by a brother Donald Sharpe, Walter V. Sharpe, a sister Christine Taphorn. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Mary Edith Parker Sharpe, 2 sisters Geraldine Davis and Betty Jones; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Tuesday May 31, 2011 at 11am at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH with Rev. Delbert Dawes officiating.
