pride in his business and in the relationships he built with his colleagues and clients. He was named one of the top stockbrokers in his company and in Houston. He was an avid golfer and tennis player, founding member of The University Club, member of Westwood and La Costa Country Clubs, and board member and member of Congregation Beth Israel. He enjoyed spending time at their second home in La Costa, California shared with his family and his many friends. Summers were so happy for Jerry, especially when his grandchildren came to visit. He is survived by his wife Doris, daughter Susan Katz Weil and husband, Steve; daughter Cindy Katz Fox and husband, Les; and by his grandchildren; Andy Weil, Greg Weil, Lindsey Fox, Lauren Fox Sancton and husband Marc. Our family would like to thank the staff at Belmont Village for their loving care and attention to Jerry over the past year making his time spent there happy and fulfilling. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at Congregation Beth Israel 5600 N.
