Ely Moses Zalta will long be remembered by his surviving children Edward & Susanne, Alan & Karen, Robbie, Michael & Carolyn, and Ted; his grandchildren Alyson & Stephen, Ashley, Leah, Dana, Amy, Zoe and Ethan; his great-grandchildren Griffin, Ella, and Rylee and by numerous other family members and friends. f the Globe Stores.  Subsequently, he served as President of the Gulf Coast Collection Agency, taking it from a small Texas firm to a nationwide organization. His Jewish identity left him with strong principles that he adhered to throughout his life. He reveled in the achievements of his children and grandchildren. The recent birth of his great-grandchildren brought him newfound joy. He relaxed by playing bridge at the master level, reading, and listening to classical music. Until his death, he mourned the loss of his beloved Esther and his son Danny. For those of us who have lost a father, a grandfather and a great-grandfather, we will long remember his devotion to family, his unwavering ethical code, and his business acumen. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice, with those in support of Israel especially welcome.
