Howard Joseph Stern

Howard Joseph Stern, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2019, in Sugar Land, Texas, at the age of 71. Howard was born and raised in New York City before attending undergraduate school at the University of Miami. He then went on to study law at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. During that time, he met the love of his life, Barbara Darryl. Shortly thereafter, they married in Dallas; they were happily married for 47 years. Howard devoted his life to his family as well as the Jewish Community including Beth Israel and The Jewish Community Center. He leaves to treasure his memory, his wife, Barbara; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Ronit; and two grandchildren, Heaton and Hannalee Stern. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Dennis Darryl and his wife, Terry; mother-in-law, Anita Darryl; niece, Ashley and her husband, Jeff, as well as countless others who knew and loved him.
