Nieto, Judith Elaine (nee Carp) Judy passed away December 6th, 2019 peacefully in her sleep.  She was born Aug 19, 1945 in Dallas TX, to Alma Lilly Sevier and Robert Mason Carp. Judy graduated from Highland Park High School in 1963.  She attended North Texas before working in the histology lab at Parkland Hospital.  She spent a few years living on the West Coast in California and Washington before returning to Dallas.  In 1970, she moved to El Paso, TX where she met Adam Nieto.  She and Adam married in 1971 and had two children, Edward and MacAdam. In 1978, Judy and her family moved to Vega, TX in the panhandle where they farmed and Judy went back to school to become an RN.  She and her sons moved back home to Dallas in 1988, where she remained for the rest of her life. Judy worked as an RN for many years, mostly in McKinney in the ER.  She also worked as a medical case manager for many years.  She spent the last years working with Adam, Eddie, and Mac as the HR Director of the family business. .  She also volunteered her time to tutor nursing students and also giving vaccines at the county clinics. Judy was known to all as someone that would help with anything, at any time, without any questions.  She loved her family and friends as deeply as they loved her.  Judy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be missed by a great many people. The world seems smaller without her presence, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of those that loved her.  Judy was preceded by: her sisters Victoria Daniel, and Lucy Gose; her brothers: David Carp and Robert Carp.  She is survived by her children, Edward and MacAdam, as well as her grandchildren Zackery Nieto, Stefanie Fedorchenko, Kaitlynn Nieto, and Lauren Nieto.  She is also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Cooper, Marion Quinones, and Edwin Carp, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13 at 1:00 pm at the Temple Emanuel Cemetery in the Mausoleum Chapel at 3430 Howell St.  A gathering will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
