Obituary of Rudolph Agostinelli January 20, 2020. Rudolph is survived by his wife Juliana (Malatesta) Agostinelli; children, Linda (Joe) Zicari & Michael (Stacey) Agostinelli; grandchildren, Christopher (Amanda) Zicari, Stephen Zicari, Andrea (Noel) Wilfeard & Nick Agostinelli; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends. Rudolph's life story will be shared during his visitation, Friday, January 24th, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, January 25th, 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., entombment to follow in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Rd., S., Rochester, NY 14623 in Rudolph's memory. Rudolph was born on June 2, 1924 to Michael and Alessandra Agostinelli in Rochester, NY. His family moved back to Italy at the age of 3. While growing up in Italy, Rudolph met Juliana Malatesta and served in the Italian Army. Rudolph moved back to the U.S. at age 27 but stayed in touch with Juliana. fe together. They had 2 children, Linda and Michael, and were later blessed with 4 grandchildren. Rudolph worked at Agostinelli Food Markets for 10 years. He went on to work at Eastman Kodak while attending night school at Rochester Institute of Technology. Rudolph earned his Bachelor Degree of Science in Chemistry. He was known to be very handy and always working on various projects at home. During his free time, he liked doing crossword puzzles and reading the daily newspaper. Over the years, Rudolph and Juliana loved to host New Years Eve parties with family and friends. He also enjoyed attending annual family reunions. Rudolph was described as a friendly and reliable gentleman who was well liked and always helping others. He was known to be intelligent, resilient and adventurous. He liked to keep busy and had a wonderful sense of humor. Rudolph will be dearly missed and always lovingly remembered by his loved ones.
