Anthony D'Agostino, 90, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, January 20, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti. He was born on July 19, 1929, in Detroit Michigan, to Frank and Antoinette (Cardone) D'Agostino. Anthony honorably served in the US Army from 1950-1952. Upon discharge, he worked for the US Postal Service for 38 years, retiring in 1989. Anthony was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather and his family meant everything to him. Anthony had an amazing gift of telling jokes to anyone who would listen, and took great joy in making others laugh. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions. Anthony is survived by his son's Richard D'Agostino of Mesa, Arizona and Alan (Lori) D'Agostino of Ann Arbor, Daughter Deanna (Steve) Champagne of Chelsea and Daughter-in-law Cynthia D'Agostino of Brighton.
