Fort Worth-Robert Alan Reed, 61, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020. Celebration of Life Service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 31, 2020 at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home, Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Robert was born in Lewes, Delaware on May 9, 1958 to the late Harry Alan & Ruth Horner Reed. He loved music, wrote music and was a member of many bands playing the guitar, singing and most recently a member of Borders Edge Band. Besides his love for music, he was married to the Love of his life, Carol Lee Crown Reed and they shared 40 years together in February. Robert was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. Survivors: wife of 40 years, Carol Lee Reed; daughters, Melanie Neff and husband Odie & Anna Marie Reed of Fort Worth; son-in-law, Jason Nowell of Fort Worth; sister-in-law, Betty Reed; nephew, Tim Reid and wife Hope; niece, Ashley Reed; great-nephew, Ryder Reed and daughter Lisa Holden of Alabama; Billy Todd Alan and Maricruz Tuchenhagen of Seattle WA , Ronnie and Cassie Stanton of Idaho; grandchildren, Mary Alyce Tabor and husband Keelan of Fort Worth, Karrol Peanut Mayfield and husband Matthew of Holliday TX, Makayla Monkey Neff o...[more]
