Mildred M. Kelly

Mildred M. Kelly, 71, of Homer, Nebraska went to meet her Lord on Monday, April 28, 2008 at a Sioux City hospital, following a tragic accident at her home on Friday, April 25, 2008. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 01, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Homer, Nebraska with Pastor Bob Call officiaing. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. Mildred was born in Homer, Nebraska on December 06, 1936, the daughter of Frank D. and Viola M. (Messerschmidt) Donnelly. She attended school in Homer and graduated in 1954. Mildred married Warren (Pete) Kelly on February 14, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa. She was a homemaker and later worked at Regency Square Nursing Home until her retirement. Mildred was a member of the United Methodist Church and Ladies Auxiliary, and the Homer Highway Club. Mildred enjoyed walking and visiting, and loved being a grandma and taking care of her husband.
