Suzanne M. (Damman) Scandalis

Suzanne Marie Scandalis, age 61, of St. Clair Shores, MI, died at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe, MI on Friday, January 5, 2018. Susie was born on April 9, 1956, in Grosse Pointe, daughter of the late Warren E. and Margaret C. Damman. She graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 1974 and spent some time traveling with friends before coming back to Michigan to take a few college courses in the medical field. She married her loving husband of 25 years, George A. Scandalis in March 1992. Susie was proud to have been a dedicated employee of Beaumont Hospital for 26 years where she had many treasured friends. she was also an avid animal lover having owned numerous dogs and cats.She was cherished by her siblings, Lynda Grippi, Diane Laney, Warren Damman, Ronald Damman and the late roger Damman as well as a host of nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. She had many good friends that will miss her and we will all miss her beautiful smile and a big heart. Donations can be made in Susie's honor to the Michigan Humane Society.[more]
