Marylin N. Palco, 84, of Warren, MI (originally from Warren Township/Roseville, MI) passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Beloved wife of the late John Palco. Loving mother of Jackilyn (Ron) Cattera and Cindy (Wayne) Wheatley. Proud Grandmother of Dane Cattera, John Wheatley and Dillon Wheatley. Survived by her siblings Lorraine (and the late Bernie) Schulte, Jim Ureel, Tom (Desta) Ureel, and Dan (Debra) Ureel; and close long-time friend Frank Schreiner. Preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Mae Ureel, and her Granddaughter, Amanda Wheatley. Marylin was the owner of Palcos Florist located in Warren, MI where she began her beloved career as a florist in 1952 and subsequently single-handedly and successfully ran the business along with Hobby Horse Farms since 1976 when her husband unexpectedly passed away. Marylin was an inspiration to the lives that she touched including her family, numerous friends, colleagues, and customers. First and foremost Marylin loved working and keeping busy!! Marylin also enjoyed horseback riding, bike riding, gardening, dance of all types, vacationing, and attending church functions. She adored and appreciated spending family time with Jacki, Ron, Dane (Amanda), and Frank going to dinner, going bowling, relaxing on the patio, and frequent morning trips to McDonalds for her favorite hotcakes and a good cup of coffee. Marylin will be lovingly remembered and missed by everyone in her life. Now she will dance in Heaven with her beloved husband, John.
