Born December 26,1967 Reginald (Reggie) Marcus Carswell, 51, died November 20, 2019 at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. His memorial service/celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 11, 2019 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Verheyden Funeral Home at 7100 Michigan Ave. Mr. Carswell was born on December 26, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan. He leaves behind two daughters Angelique Carswell and Alexxandria Carswell of Greenville, South Carolina. He is preceded in death by his mother Ramona W. Carswell, father, Harry Franklin Carswell Sr, brother Harry F. Carswell Jr. Reggie is survived by his sisters and brother, Armethyst C. Lucius, Detroit, Michigan, Hildreth C. (John) Jones, Palm Coast, Florida, Agnes Johnnetta Carswell, Jacksonville Florida, David Lorenzo Carswell, Detroit, Michigan, twin sister Regina Carswell (Matthew) Russo, Cincinnati, Ohio and five nieces and nephews. oblems and moods. He learned to play the guitar at an early age and never stopped. He loved playing music, playing pool and during the early years in high school loved break dancing. Reggie was so thrilling to watch that a local photographer captured his moves and published them in the local newspaper. While he retired the cardboard and back spins long ago, he still loved to dance. He never met a stranger, and filled the room with his joyful energy, jokes and huge smile. Reggie lived boldly with courage and faith. He loved his daughters, family and friends with relentless devotion.
