Mildred Lee Manley

Mildred Lee Manley, "Millie", of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away February 26, 2015 at the age of 83. Millie was an amazing wife, mother, Nana, and great-Nana. She cherished time spent with her family, especially many memorable vacations. Her love of nature and music, as well as her feistiness will live on in her family. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary Surrett; infant daughter Penny Manley; and brothers, William and Howard Surrett and son-in-law Reggie Burnaugh.  She is survived and will be deeply missed by the love of her life, best friend and husband of 64 years, Harvey Manley; daughters, Karen Burnaugh, Joni Coker and husband Steve; son, Scott Manley; grandchildren, John Coker and wife Kelli, Kristin Karl, Patrick Manley and wife Emily, Nick Coker, Kevin Wilson, and Hannah Morgan and husband, Cameron; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley; special nieces, Angie, Missy, Pat, and Sue; and several nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tennova Residential Hospice for their loving and professional care.
