Barry Wright

Barry Wright, 57, died of natural causes on September 11, 2015.  Barry excelled in academics and sports in high school and college, playing baseball at UT for 4 years at a variety of positions.  His coach at UT was his father, Bill Wright, Jr. who was the head baseball coach there in the 60's and 70's.  He followed sports avidly with his Dad and two brothers and all became lifelong San Francisco Giant fans.  He graduated from UT in Marketing in 1980 and worked in sales and marketing for a number of years.  Later on, he enjoyed coaching his children in various sports in what he described as "the happiest times of my life".  In recent times, he helped care for his aged mother.  Barry was loved and valued as the unique individual he was and he will be missed. Survivors include:  children Landon Wright and Kacey Kiste (Tyler), mother Phyllis Keny, siblings Bill Wright III (Luanna), Cassie Zalewski (Don), Steve Wright, nephew Bradley Wright and nieces Lindsay Wright and Jessica Graef (Jeff). He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Wright, Jr. and sister Sara Wright Neblett. The family will celebrate his life privately.
