Jodie A. Boyce

Jodie Annette Boyce, age 51, went to her heavenly home on September 19, 2015, with her devoted family at her side. She faithfully attended First Baptist Concord, and served as a manager at Appalachian Underwriters. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Andrew Magee and Elizabeth Magee; beloved grandson, Jayden; parents, Doug and Ramona Boyce; sister, Jenny Hanson; nephews, Chad Hanson, David Hanson and wife Jennifer; great-nephew, Elijah; and many other extended family and special friends she loved. Jodie loved life and valiantly battled cancer. She appreciated the many prayers and cards, and well wishes from family, friends, and coworkers during her journey through her final days. The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to her employer, Appalachian Underwriters and the supportive staff there; Covenant Health family, Fort Sanders Regional Hospital administration and staff, in particular the Infusion Center; physicians, especially Dr. Morgan, Dr. Burns, Dr. Grapski, Dr. Brinner, and Dr. Kirksey.
