Heather L. Scott

Heather Lynne Scott, beautiful wife, loving mother and great daughter, sister and friend, passed away on July 5, 2017 at the age of 46 following a valiant battle with cancer. Heather was a pediatric Nurse Practitioner who loved and gave generously to anyone blessed enough to be in her path. She will always be remembered for her ability and willingness to help others and her kind smile. Heather was preceded in death by her fathers, John Owen Scott and Lynn McClellan, and brother-in-law, Jason Solomon. She is survived and will be forever missed by her devoted husband, Shaun C. Solomon; son, Parker Owen Dillard; mother, Judy Ray and husband Pat Rae; sister, Dawn Marie Holmes;  niece and nephew, Ethan William and Georgia Bailee Holmes; father-in-law, Dennis Solomon; step-mother-in-law, Connie Solomon; step-father-in-law, Len Haithcock; and several other extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will held at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 7th at 7 pm. The family will Receive Friends beginning at 6 pm.
