Obituary of Kathryn R. Orlando Kathie passed on Thursday, February 20,2020, with her husband Ernie at her side. She was predeceased by her father Robert M. Nelson and her twin grandchildren Katie and Becky Andrews. She is survived by her mother Roma Dee Nelson; her husband of 45 years Ernie; her daughter Jessica (Ryan) Andrews; her son E.J. (Carolyn D'Ann) Orlando; her grandchild Charlotte Orlando; her brother Robert M. (Jill) Nelson Jr.; her sister Linda A. (Dan) Bush, her brother Randall D. Nelson; her sister Kristi S. (Dan) King; her sister Rebeccah J. (Casey) Luke; her sister Patricia S. Nelson. Special thanks to Dr. Nancy Shafer Clark for her continuous love and care; Dr. Noel and his team at U of R Oncology; Dr. Tim Quill and Dr. Rob Horowitz, and specialist Marcia Buckley at U of R Palliative Care for their science and humanity; the amazing nurses and staff of Webster Comfort Care Hospice House who took us in at the end and met her most urgent needs. At Kathie's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathie's memory to the Webster Comfort Care Hospice House.
