Robert E.”Bob” Notz age 83 of Delmar Iowa died on Thursday afternoon November 272008.0 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf Iowa.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10 A.M. Monday December 12008.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 P.M. on Sunday November 30 2008 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Cremation rites will follow the funeral service.
Robert E. Notz was born on December 17 1924 in Savanna Illinois to Emil Notz and Ruth (Nelson) Notz. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army serving in General Patton's Third Army. He married Marilyn Vogel in Clinton Iowa on June 12 1949.

Robert was a member of the Maquoketa American Legion Post #75 Ducks Unlimited The Izaak Walton League and the National Rifle Association.
Robert is survived by: his wife- Marilyn Notz of Delmar IA; children- Randel E. (Kimberly) Notz of Elk Grove Village IL Eugene R. (Cathy Pocius) Notz of Hawkins WI David M. (Jeni Gobel) Notz of Maquoketa IA Cynthia (Warren) Ness of Iowa City IA & Christine M. (Patrick) Sweeney of Davenport IA; 11 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren; a brother- Cecil Johnson of Savanna IL; & sisters- Suzanne (Vern) Magnuson of Chicago IL & Charlene (David) McCoy of LaCrosse WI. He was preceded in death by his parents & a brother- Harry (Bill) Notz.
