Loretta Mae Roman was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Beatrice and Harry Cantor on November 10, 1929. She passed away peacefully on February 24, 2020. Loretta married the love of her life, Arnold Roman, at the age of 18 and was forever by his side until his death in 2015. Together, they moved to Minnesota for Arnold's work and then to Dallas, Texas. Shortly after their first Grandchild, Kimberly, was born, they moved to Houston to be closer to the family. Loretta always enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren and her 6 great-grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than watching her great grandchildren grow up and attending their activities. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arnold Roman, her daughters; Kathy Podlogar and Robyn Saghian and her brother, Marshall Cantor. Loretta is survived by her son, David Roman, her son in law, Sion Saghian, her grandchildren; Kimberly Saghian, Lindsay Tavor (Elan), Michael Saghian (Rachel) and Tara Roman, As well as her great-grandchildren; Andrew, Alexa and Arianna Tavor, Eva and Amelia Saghian, Parker Roman and Julian Corlew. ny of her days working at the family restaurant, Brisket Bar BQ. Her favorite job was talking to all her favorite customers and coming up with new ideas. When she wasn't helping out at work she was helping to take care of her grandchildren. In her later years, she loved to play Mahjong, poker and various other games with friends. She was always coming up with great activities for her neighbors. She is well known for writing scripts and directing shows at her senior living community. The family would like to thank the staff and neighbors at Brookdale Galleria for all of the love and support through the years. Thank you for taking such good care of our Loretta.
