Jerry McKay

Jerome passed away at the age of 81 on February 25, 2020 and was born on December 7, 1938 in Dowagiac, MI to Harvey and Dorothy Kinney McKay. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and Indiana University with an MBA. Jerry then began a career with Ford Motor Co. and retired in 1998. Beloved husband of Alice; loving father of Patricia (Robert) Goethals, Ann Marie (Jerry) Zeitner and Michael (Kathryn); proud grandfather of Ryan and Alex Goethals, Andrew and Matthew Zeitner, and Colleen, Daniel and Kristina; and adored brother of Douglas (Nancy) McKay. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 1,, 2020 from 3-5pm at Nie Family Funeral Home; 3767 W. Liberty Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, March 2nd at 11am with a gathering one hour beforehand at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; 2250 E Stadium Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
