Funeral Services for Sgt. Frank McCoy Dial, age 60, of Rickman will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2020 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Eugene McCowan will officiate. Burial to follow in the Harris Chapel Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home. Sgt. Dial passed from this life on Friday morning, February 28, 2020 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Alton, IL on September 14, 1959 to the late James & Sarah Copeland Dial. Sgt. Dial was a 1979 graduate of Rickman High School. Baptist in Faith, he served his country in the National Guard from 1980 to 1984 then as a Deputy Sherriff for Overton County. Sgt. Dial loved his wife and family very much. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, listening to country and rock music and serving the residents of Overton County. Sgt. Dial was preceded in death by his grandson, Dakota Garrison. Pallbearers to serve are Logan Cantrell, Xander Cantrell, James Elliot, Ryan Nelanson, Mark Dial, J.D. Masters, Cody Davis, and Jeremy Laycock. Honorary Pallbearers are Tim Reagan, and Tony Qualls.
