James Bennet Nisbet III, age 71, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at his home in Scottsdale in the company of his family and friends. Jim is survived by his wife of 35 years, Annie (Miller) Nisbet, his two sons William J. Nisbet and James B. Nisbet IV, his daughter, Dolores (Nisbet) Frasier, his brother David C. Nisbet, one grandson, Edward J. Borroughs and nephews Christopher Nisbet, Mark Nisbet and Colin Nisbet. A native of Chicago, Jim moved to the Phoenix area at age 9 and has resided in the valley area ever since. Jim was a graduate of Brophy High School in 1962. In 1984, Jim and his wife, Annie, founded Brokerage Professionals, Inc. and over the years built it into one of the largest and most prestigious insurance brokerage agencies in the state of Arizona. Jim was also a key founding member and senior partner of BRAMCO, one of the largest insurance marketing organizations in the country. He was a devoted husband, father and family man. Among his many friends and colleagues he will be remember for his humorous personality and generosity. His wish was to be cremated.
