Frank Cannizzo

Frank Cannizzo formerly from Stony Point NY passed away on August 3, 2016. Frank was born on November 25, 1928 in Sicily, Italy. Since 2007 Frank has lived in Arizona with his wife of 64 years, Gennie (DeMatteo). Frank and Gennie were married at St. Phillips and St. James church in Phillipsburg, NJ, on June 14th 1954. They moved to Arizona to live closer to their son John, his wife Elisa and their 3 children Luca, Matteo, and Enzo. Frank was a member of St Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church in Cave Creek Arizona. Frank was employed by the Ford Motor Company for 30 years prior to his retirement. Frank is survived by his wife Gennie, their daughter's Mary Barbera, her husband Anthony, Vera and her husband Richard, as well as his son John, his wife Elisa. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren, and two Greatgrandchildren. Frank is also survived by his sister Angelina Zagra of Phillipsburg NJ. A visitation will be held at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Memorial Park, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale AZ on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5-8PM, with rosary at 7PM.
