Rose Marie Laporte

Rose Marie LaPorte of 78, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away April 8th 2017. Born May 1, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to Helmut and Mary Ann Lang. Rose Marie was the oldest of 6 children. Rose Marie was married to Joseph Anthony LaPorte Jr. for 27 years until his passing in 1984. Together they raise 3 children Cheryl Ann Gray (Michael), Diana Rose Martinka (Glen) and Joseph Michael LaPorte. The family relocated to Arizona in 1979 when Rose Marie took a position at Allied-Signal/Honeywell where she was an administrative executive assistance to the chief engineer until she retired in 1998. Rose Marie is survived by her children, her siblings Martin Lang (Janice), Patricia Johnson (James), Gerald Lang (Elizabeth) and Mary Ann Drotos. She is preceded in death by her sister Linda Lang. She is survived by her Grandchildren Ashley Gray Zlotnick (Stephen), Bryan Martinka (Seana), Nicholas Martinka, Astin Gray and Great Grandson Chase Zlotnick. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday April 19th, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Pauls Catholic Church 330 W. Coral Gables Dr. Phoenix, Arizona. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Paradise Memorial Gardens.[more]
