Pamela Kay Scafidi

Pamela Kay Scafidi, 61, of Scottsdale passed away on May 4, 2017. Pamela was born on April 4, 1956 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Paul and Delores Haugland. She is survived by her loving daughter Cameron Reichert, grand children Andrew, Adam, and Evan, sisters Shirley Crowder, Rhonda Richter-Neves, Brenda Agee-Sease, Teresa Agee Foreman, brothers William Agee, Jason Lingon, dad Kenneth Carey, grandmother Alice Haugland, aunts Sylvia Godwin Haugland, Sharon Lloyd, Shirley Spangler, Betty McKissick and uncles Steve Haugland, and Harry Haugland. Pamela studied Journalism at Portland State University and was an avid, lifelong writer. In addition to her exceptional writing talent, she was blessed with many gifts. At the age of 27, Pamela moved to Australia, a place she has always treasured and considered home. Pamela returned to the United States in 1990 and later opened Secret Oasis Day Spa. One of Pamela's greatest passions was the study of longevity and wellness. For over a decade, Pamela worked towards writing a book about her research and one day opening her own anti-aging institute.
