Thomas Leroy Knepper

Thomas Leroy Knepper, age 78, died after a brief illness in Scottsdale, AZ on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Tom was surrounded by our loving family and dear friends, here and in prayer, as he slipped away from our arms into the arms of his awaiting Savior, Jesus Christ. Tom was born on May 30, 1939 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Jacob Harley and Vera Mae (Coakley) Knepper. Tom was married for 57 years to his high school sweetheart, Rita Stabner Knepper. They continued to life in Springfield, in the Northridge subdivision for 54 years, where they raised their four amazing children. He retired from International Truck with 30 years service. In August 2016, Tom and Rita moved to Arizona. Tom deeply loved his wife and family. He loved cars (he owned over 30 in his lifetime), music, traveling, motorcycling (with his Momma Rita on back), rv'ing, and mostly he enjoyed talking to people. He also liked to tease, in good fun. He was a deep man of prayer and loved to read and study the Bible. A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 1-5pm at the Vineyard Church of Northridge Café, 4650 Ridgewood Road East, Springfield, Ohio.
