Virginia Ann Cadle

Virginia Ann Cadle Good, 95, died at her Beatitudes Campus home in Phoenix, Arizona, February 8, 2018. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the youngest of three children born to evangelist E. Howard Cadle and Ola Cadle. Her father was a pioneer in radio broadcast ministries; the founder and builder of the Cadle Tabernacle in downtown Indianapolis. She married H. Max Good, a minister from Van Wert, Ohio, in 1940. Together they founded Soul's Harbor, and later Christ Memorial Church in Columbus, Ohio, where they lived for twenty-five years. Virginia helped with the administration of the church offices, affairs and programs. She had the gift of hospitality and left people feeling loved and valued. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1963. Virginia continued to support her husband's ministry and worked several part time jobs over the years. Of particular joy to her was her role as a bridal sales consultant for Goldwater's department store where she helped many young brides choose their gowns. She moved to the Beatitudes Campus in Phoenix in 2008 and enthusiastically embraced her new community, where she had many friends. She is survived by her sons Howard "Hardy" (Patti) and David of Phoenix, and daughter Nancy Good of San Francisco, California. Also, included are daughter-in-law Kathy Good, four grandchildren, Amy Betancourt, Brian Good, Heather Evans, Michaela Good, three great-grandchildren, Patrick Betancourt, Danielle Betancourt, Wesley Evans and numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia was warm hearted, good humored, gracious and hospitable. She will be missed by all who knew her. Thank you for kind and compassionate care to John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital, the Terraces skilled nursing facilities, Hospice of the Valley and the executives, staff and crew at the Beatitudes Campus. A Memorial Service will be held at Beatitudes Life Center, Phoenix, Arizona, on Friday, 23 February at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a church of your choice.
