Lenora Cross

Lenora Cross of Anthem, AZ passed away peaceful at the age of 85 on March 6, 2018. She was born in Greenwood, SC in October 1932 to Frances and Nora Cooner. After graduating from Winthrop College with a Bachelor's Degree, Lenora became a beloved physical education teacher in schools throughout South Carolina and Illinois and at one point served as the Union President for teachers. Lenora married the love of her life, James D. Cross, in 1964 and they spent their years traveling together. Lenora was also a proud member of The Daughters of the American Revolution and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. [more]
