y were a team and through hard work achieved great success and created a wonderful life. Their travels took them all over the world and exposed her to an incredible number of diverse and fascinating people all of whom she treated with the same dignity and respect. Shirley had a twinkle in her eye and could always warm a room with her beautiful smile. Despite these successes, Shirley always felt that her greatest achievement was her family. There was nothing in the world more important to her than those she loved. In particular, she was immensely proud of her grandchildren, Alanna, Kelsey and Hayley. Her involvement in their lives is something they will always cherish. True happiness for Shirley was having dinner at her beloved cottage on Stoney Lake, surrounded by her family, or playing the piano for family and friends. Shirley's grace, heart, and sense of humour will be dearly missed by all the friends she made at the lake, in Toronto, and Scottsdale, Arizona. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at the Granite Club (2350, Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario) Friday, May 25th at 12:00 p.m. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation (www.liver.ca) or the charity of your choice.
