PHOENIX - Jonathan Dean Macaulay, 44, husband of Allison Macaulay, Phoenix, Arizona, returned to his Father in Heaven on September 22, 2018. Jon was born on January 10, 1974 in Philadelphia and raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Jon was extremely hardworking, putting himself through college at Brigham Young University and graduate school at Arizona State University. He knew that education opened doors in life and enjoyed being a life long learner. Jon loved the outdoors. He was an avid snowboarder and had the unique opportunity to snowboard in Japan, New Zealand, and throughout the United States. Jon loved to hike and had the special opportunity to hike and camp Havasupai Falls with his oldest son, Ian in 2017. He obtained a Master's degree in Information Systems Management and worked for Accenture for 5 years and American Express for 15 years. He was a beloved colleague and employee, lifting others with his positive attitude and infectious laugh. Jon loved cars, especially BMWs. He owned 4 and enjoyed working on each one. a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He joined the Church when he was 18 and served a mission to New Hampshire-Manchester when he was 19. Jon's faith in Jesus Christ was an anchor for him and his family. Jon will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, Allison, and their three children who he lived for, Ian 14, Henry 11, Olivia 11, and his mother, Joy and brother, Richard. Jon was an incredible family man dedicated to providing for both their spiritual and temporal needs.
