Peter Childs

Peter Childs, 66, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018. Peter was born on July 1st, 1952 in Buffalo, NY, the youngest of three boys. He met the love of his life, Andrea, while on a ski trip during high school while living in Plymouth, MI. While attending Denison University, Peter pledged to the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta and graduated with a bachelor's in History. After graduation, he and Andrea moved to Arizona where they started a family of four with their son, Clarke and daughter, Audrey. Peter had a passion for travel, visiting Africa, India, Peru, Guatemala and many other places with his darling Andrea at his side. His smile and startling blue eyes charmed and enraptured everyone he met and his loss is definitely felt by his life long friends. Peter leaves behind his brothers, Michael and Jon, as well as his children, Clarke and Audrey, and his daughter-in-law, Angela. A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 11am at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, located at 6500 E. Bell Rd. Scottsdale.
