Nancy E. Mclaughlin

Nancy E. McLaughlin, age 75, passed away peacefully, January 2, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in North Phoenix. She was born in Morristown, New Jersey on December 5, 1943 to Reginald Johnson and Lois (Heckel) Johnson. Nancy attended Franklin College in Indiana. She married Hugh McLaughlin March 19, 1967. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; traveling, making quilts and crocheting, volunteering at her grandchildren's schools, baking pies and desserts, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband loved to travel the world. They visited Egypt, Thailand, Turkey and Peru to name a few. After his death in 2007, travel was her true passion. She continued the tradition in his honor with friends and family and enjoyed finding new friends on each trip. She is survived by her sister, Carol Richter; daughters Kimberly Blackert (Brian), Michele Sapero, and Karen Kires; 6 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
