s Catholic Church. He was an active member of the parish serving as a Eucharistic Minister and in Pastoral Care. Chuck was also active in St. Vincent de Paul at both St. Paul's and St. Luke's for many years. An avid sports fan Chuck enjoyed following golf, tennis, football, baseball, and basketball. Coming from Detroit, he was a lifelong Lions and Tigers fan. Chuck enjoyed playing a round of golf with family and friends. To escape the heat of the Arizona summer he liked to escape to San Diego or Sedona. Chuck was not the gardener in the family. He had an affinity for only one plant, the Red Hibiscus, planted out in front of the house. He devotedly watered these plants throughout the years. We believe the Red Hibiscus reminded him of the time he spent in San Diego while in the Navy. Chuck is survived by his wife of 58 years Patricia, children Bill, Mary Beth, Matt (Leticia), Mark and Mike (Stephanie), eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services to celebrate Chuck's life are as follows: Visitation at Hansen's Mortuary, 8314 North 7th Street, on January 17th between 4 and 7 PM. With a rosary at 5 pm. The funeral mass will be at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 330 West Coral Gables Drive, on January 18th at 10 AM directly followed by a luncheon at 11 AM. The interment at Holy Redeemer Cemetery will be at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
