Joseph C. Ross

Joseph C. Ross (Joe) of Scottsdale, AZ went to join his son, Adam Joseph, in Heaven on Wednesday, November 27, 2019- 10 days before his 85th birthday. Joe was born on 12/7/1934 in Brooklyn, NY to William and Zilda Ross. Joe was a proud member of the USMC who served in the Korean War. Joe worked for Macy's for many years in both NYC and Albany, NY. He began his own sales business in the 70's and moved to Rochester, NY where he met his beautiful bride, Donna.  Joe and Donna moved to AZ with their two youngest sons, Adam and Noah, in 1986. Joe was an excellent woodworker and storyteller, and he was always the biggest kid around. Joe is survived by his wife, Donna Ross; his children, Anne (Joe) Chowske, Jacqueline (Bob) Trembley, Christopher (Judy) Ross, Kelly Ross and Noah (Jennifer) Ross; his great-grandson whom he adopted, Adam Ross; as well as 14 grandchildren and 6 additional great grandchildren. Joe was predeceased by his son Adam Joseph, his parents; his brothers, Leonard and William; his in-laws, Anthony and Edilena Valvo; his granddaughters, Meghan Passafiume and Kelsie Anne Ross; and his great granddaughter  Lexis Marie Carpenter. 2019 from 6:30-8:00 pm, and services will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, December 6, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 9565 E. Larkspur Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Burial with military honors will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
