Shirley Ann Heister age 73 of Bellevue Iowa died on Saturday October 32009.0 at her home in Bellevue Iowa.

A graveside service and burial celebrating Shirley’s life will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday October 72009.0 from the Hickory Grove Cemetery rural Monmouth Iowa. A Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday October 62009.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa.

Shirley Ann Pitts was born on February 251936.0 in LaMotte Iowa to Joseph Pitts and Lyal (Hayes) Pitts. She was a 1954 graduate of Holy Rosary High School in LaMotte Iowa. 

Shirley was a homemaker and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in LaMotte.

Shirley loved to play cards with her sisters and friends (especially her good friend Joann Hingtgen). She also enjoyed gambling and NASCAR racing with her favorite driver being Jeff Gordon and Brett Favre being her favorite NFL player.   Spending time with her family was especially important to her.
