Carol Edwards

Carol Mae (Macek) Edwards, born May 25, 1942 in Endicott, NY, married August 20, 1983 in Bisbee, AZ and died May 15, 2016 in Peoria, AZ. A daughter of John F. and Anna M. (Pado) Macek. Carol is survived by her husband, Allen L. Edwards; a sister, Patricia A. (Macek) O'Neal, Melbourne, FL; daughters Beth M. (Rinck) Renfro, Phoenix, AZ; Lisa A. (Rinck) Erb, Blandon, PA; and sons John J. Rinck, San Jose, CA; and Michael S. Rinck, Alhambra, CA; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a sister, Jeanne Marie Macek and a son, Austin Edwards. Carol attended Central Catholic High School in Reading, PA, Class of 1960 and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Reading, PA, Class of 1963. She was an R.N., last working the Neonatal ICU at Stanford Medical Center, Palo Alto, CA in 1983. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, and spoiling her grandchildren. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 3:00PM Friday, May 20, 2016 at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell, Scottsdale 85254. Interment will be private.
