James Kirby Musick

James Kirby Musick, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on January 27, 2017 surrounded by his family. Visitation will occur 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary. James was born on March 15, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Kemper Military School in 1960 and earned a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from North Texas State University in 1966. On April 2, 1966 he was married to Marshia Light in Gainesville, Texas. He served as Chief Executive Officer of The Arizona Foundation for the Handicapped since 1980. He enjoyed his work and his family. He is survived by his wife Marshia, daughter Leeann, son Kevin, and five grandchildren.
