Dale Edward Smyser

Dale passed away June 11, 2017. He was born in Marion, IN on July 20, 1938 to parents Ida (Wilt) and Herbert Smyser. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Paul Eugene Smyser; sisters Freida Louise Smyser, Deloris King, Karen Smyser, Maxine Huston; and son Dale DeWayne Smyser. He is survived by his wife Anita (Lee) Smyser; grandchildren Shawn Smyser, Kristen Vernon (Brad), Jonathon Dale Smyser; and daughter-in-law Sherri Smyser; great-grandchild Alexa Smyser; brothers Richard, Robert (Barbara), Hal (Charlaine); sisters Beverly Cook, Susie Cook (Dean), Linda Love (Robin), Betty Jo Batty, Ruby Chambers; and many loving nieces and nephews. He moved to Arizona in 1960, worked for Safeway, Walt McNally Brokers, and Waremart. Started a business in 1977 with Robert Smyser and Phil Quinn (SQS Family Foods). He was on AFMA Board 1979-1995, was Chairman of the Board 1984-1985. Dale was an avid golfer and loved spending time at 19th Hole with all his golfing buddies.
