x where she specialized in historic homes including those of Frank Lloyd Wright. A skilled photographer, Diane created, with Allen A. Dutton, a pictorial essay entitled Arizona Then & Now. The book, published in 1981 by Ag2 Press, is a collection of paired photographs--the first a 19th-century image of an Arizona community, and the second a contemporary photograph taken by Mrs. Bunting and Mr. Dutton from the same standpoint. As stated in the introduction by historian Marshall Trimble, the book "vivifies yesterday by superimposing today upon it." She was an active student of t'ai chi, Pilates, and drawing, through which she enjoyed vibrant circles of friends.
