Gordon R. Wallace

 January 15, 1936 - July 16, 2017 GORDON R. WALLACE, age 81, of Skokie, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2017, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Edna and Gordon Wallace Sr. and grew up in Skokie. Gordon, beloved husband of Joan Wallace, older brother to James Wallace, survived by daughter Laura Walk (Marc), son Scott Wallace (Gail), daughter Jean Klein (Bob), and daughter Mary Wallace. He was a proud Grandpa "Pa" to his 10 grandchildren: Brittany (Adam), Shay (John), Zach, Scottie, Kristen, Nathan, Kelsey, Keegan, Kolten, and Manny and happy to welcome his five great-grandchildren: Ethan, Aaron, Addie, Bella and Reid. He pursued his childhood dream of becoming a police officer. He was a patrolman in the Village of Winnetka and in Chicago, Illinois. He later became Chief for Harper College and Chief of Police in the Village of Willowbrook, Illinois. Later in his career, Gordon became an Investigator for the State of Illinois in the Department of Professional Regulation. He completed his Master's Degree at Roosevelt University.
