Mary Jo Bowman

Mary Jo, 91, was called to Heaven by her Savior, Jesus Christ, to join her husband Robert to be together forever in eternity. Mary Jo and Robert were founding members of Hillside Southern Baptist Church and members of the Hilltopper Choir. Mary Jo was born in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Phoenix in 1979. She loved working at Russell Stover Candies, Cloth World and Hancock Fabrics. She was an excellent seamstress, crafter and an avid reader. She loved to travel, and cruises to Hawaii were her favorite. Mary Jo is survived by her sons Terry and Jody (Nancy); four grandchildren Dustin (Jessie), Amanda (Mike), Lisa and Hannah; and two great-grandchildren Anika and Jack. Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Hillside Baptist Church, 1344 W.
