ossomed. She thoroughly enjoyed getting out and taking advantage of the nice weather by shopping or to hang out with friends and family. For someone that didn't drive, she sure got around a lot! She was an active volunteer. Yet gathering people as host/planner for bus trips to Vegas or casinos throughout the valley was her side gig. This was also a chance for people to not only take in the sites and witness the beauty of what Arizona and Nevada had to offer. But a chance to be consumed in the unselfish outpouring of love and attention she gave to everyone. Her personality was infectious! But she would talk your ears off! If you had a conversation with her and she said, "To make a long story short", she'd talk to you for an extra hour! (LOL) Till this day, there's not one person that could deny the positive affect she's had on people from all walks of life. She loved playing Keno! Especially with her friends at the Devonshire Senior Center. She was THE consummate mother and Grandmother. So loving and so generous. An EXTREMELY GOD-fearing woman. Oh! And the best cook ever! No matter what time of day, she always enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. But around the holidays, that's when all of us looked forward to her famous Peach Cobbler...Mmmm! Mom was a strong believer in our Lord and Savior. Since moving to Phoenix, Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral of Phoenix would be her place of worship. Mom, you are forever with me and I miss you terribly. Single handedly, you've allowed me to have the best childhood and Adult life EVER! And because of you, I will follow your teachings towards my Prince (Your grandson, Yared). I will continue to love you for all eternity. Mary's survivors include her two children: Warcondo (Warco / Coco), Marlando (Marlan / Mr. Fix It); grandsons: Yared Cleary, Ruben Dodd, Jonathan Cleary and Calvin Hodges; her siblings: Becky Smith, Teresa Thornton and Emmett Lewis; ex-Husband: Billy J. Cleary. Also, allow me to include our second family...Jolana and The Dyson Family. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Marlando Cleary My mom! I'm very sure she left a kind, funny and long-lasting impression towards anyone she met. Reflection: I remember a day on the bus with mom. She loved shopping and visiting new places. And I knew we were headed on an adventure! The bus came to a stop to pick up an elderly woman. Within an instant, a guy came up behind the lady and took her purse! The lady just continued to board the bus and sat down calmly. My mother reached into her purse, paid this woman's fair and gave her some money to continue her way. That right there taught me compassion, love and understanding. So I'll never lose what my mom has taught me. Thanks mom!
