William Carl Larsen

William Carl Larsen passed away on April 29, 2018, at the age of 90 years. A native of Menominee, Michigan, William served in the U.S. Navy. Upon discharge, William pursued a degree in medicine. After receiving an M.D. from the University of Michigan, he practiced medicine for six decades, serving in many locations -- including South Dakota, New Mexico, Washington, D.C., Arizona, and Michigan. He spent the majority of his practice serving Native Americans with the U.S. Public Health Service. He was the devoted husband of Janet, who passed away in 2008. He is survived by his son Eric; his daughter Jamie (Kozimor); three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Celebration of William's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Phoenix Friends Church, 8055 N. 39th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85051, with Pastor Steven Kozimor officiating. Graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Hansen Desert Hills Memorial Park, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85254.[more]
